The evolution of Paul George's signature series continues with the Nike PG3. Designer Tony Hardman, who crafted George's previous signature kicks, pared this one back to focus on three principles: 1.) Strip away what's not necessary. The tongue is integrated into the collar, and forefoot Zoom Air adds low-profile responsiveness while cutting weight. 2.) Make each step more efficient. A circular traction pattern enables George to cut in multiple directions, while the PG3 carries over the wings from the PG 2.5 to maintain stability. 3.) Connect to George's past. The outsole includes numbers that pertain to PG's life story; his birthday, uniform numbers he's worn, the number of tattoos, and more.
